A mural street art project in Downtown Escondido in North County San Diego.

10 Arms, 4 Hearts, 1 Earth

The inspiration for this piece came from a song about being underwater and being isolated from the world around you.  There are two beings in this piece, beings that come together and find comfort in their mutual underwater isolation.

Painting this mural was fun for me.  Working with a larger canvas brought me so much joy. I found myself being carried away by the process, and it reminded me of what I can be capable of when my canvas seems limitless.

I’ve been doing art since I was little. In the past I have found big projects to be intimidating, so in this case it felt good to be able to project my imagination into the art.  I want people to look at the artwork and feel as though they can see into my mind.

I would also like to say thank you to my friends and family who have given me the inspiration to create.

 Escondido is for artists.
