Since I was a child, people have been my main focus in art. I’ve always empathized and expressed myself through my subjects and their environments. What I had in mind for this piece was to send a message of hope and self love. With everything going on in the world, we can get so scrambled up in it and forget ourselves and our inner peace. She is a representative of Divine Feminine celebrated with beautiful soft, feathery bright colors. She is a reminder to appreciate your true divinity and beauty within, to be your own best friend. The words surrounding her are words to tell yourself; that you are beautiful, intelligent, brave and strong. Her tattoos symbolize freedom, infinite love, manifestation and peace. Most importantly, along her belly/waist are the words, “I love you.” I am honored to be a part of this project! I really appreciate the experience and hope this mural brings peace and love!
