Birds of paradise are one of my favorite flowers. I love the contrast of colors.

This piece signifies a lot of growth that I’ve done since I had my daughter who is now four.

For me the plant and the painting conveys a message that everyone can grow and thrive in the right environment with the right people. If you are nurtured and loved anything can happen.

Out of everything I have painted this is my daughter’s favorite.
