Coyote by Berthis Meyers

Coyote

Born in Mexico, I began my journey as an artist when I was a child participating in extracurricular activities in my hometown of Torreón in Coahuila alongside Estela Argumedo and under the guidance of Maestro Raúl Aguilera.

During my years as a college student, employee, and traveler, I lacked the time to set aside for painting and to connect with what I love. Yet, I never lost the desire to express myself and illustrate. Life eventually offered me the chance to reconnect with painting when I became a wife and mother, and I embraced that opportunity under the direction of Rich Stergulz.

I enjoy observing nature, people, and animals living in their natural elements. Everything and everyone I meet or see has something distinctly unique and beautiful that is meaningful to me. This is my inspiration—illustrating people, animals, and more in their raw and authentic individuality.

 Escondido is for artists.
