The mural is a fun take on the mascot rivalry within the local high school sports and academic programs: the Escondido Cougars, the San Pasqual Eagles, and the Orange Glen Patriots. The mural is provided as a tribute to them in a unique way.
We created this mural through a collaborative group of tattooists at Grand Legacy Tattoo in Escondido – Stevie, Mike, Henry, Lorenzo, Doug, Tristen, and shop apprentice Kai. We always try to stay involved, contribute, and be part of the art community of Escondido. We wanted to create a unique piece to add to the artwork of the Esco Alley Art project.
